HDFC extends 8.25% home loan offer till March 31
HDFC has decided to extend its dual home loan scheme to February 27 from January 31 as announced earlier. The company has disbursed close to Rs 4,000 crore till January 31, the housing finance company said in a statement.
The company appears to be waiting for the impact of cut in the cash reserve ratio (CRR), which will become fully effective on February 26.
As per the dual home loan scheme, the HFC would offer new home loans at a fixed rate 8.25 per cent fixed rate for the first three years ending March 31, 2013. Thereafter, the rate would be adjusted to the then prevailing floating rate.
This extension offer is applicable for all new home loan customers who apply for home loans before February 28 and take the disbursement before March 31, the HFC added.
